A NYE in the life of an alternative clothing brand

Despite opting for the quiet option of the suburbs, a few friends and an open fire for myself for NYE, it was great to know that the Jed Phoenix of London alternative clothing brand was out and about and turning heads. Jim Hudson, stage designer at Erotica 2008, was flying the Phoenix flag as he waltzed around the Proud Gallery in Camden Town wearing strap trousers, waistcoat and tie. Also in NW1 was Bob, who used to help out at The Electric Ballroom, who wore his strap tailcoat and trousers on a veritable crawl of alternative clothing-attracting venues that included the Hawley Arms, Hobgoblin, Underworld and Barfly. Bracing himself against the cold in a stylish way was Simon, who wore his fleece lined City Punk coat to Slimelight, haven of goth, EBM and industrial subculture. On a fetish tip, Kitty arrived at Torture Garden (the home of kinky fashion) wearing her strap trousers and Lizzie danced the night away in her bespoke hauterneck backless waistcoat and pinstripe bustle skirt. And rocking the crowd down on the South Pier in Portsmouth was A+D+A+M Lab4 who was wearing his Jed Phoenix of London strap trousers as he played a special head-to-head DJ set with DJ X Lab4.
Creating stunning alternative clothing and kinky fashion with a focus on alternative fetish menswear will continue for Jed Phoenix of London throughout 2009.
